Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the processing of personal data on this website.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen) on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place. Processing serves the provision of a secure and stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Server log files

When the website is accessed, technical data (in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) is collected automatically. This data serves solely secure operation and error analysis and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted after a short period.

4. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies, e.g. to store your language selection. These are required for the operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and do not require consent. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.

5. Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, we process your details (name, email, optionally phone, subject and message) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling your concern). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Client portal

For existing clients we offer a password-protected client portal. The data processed there serves the provision of our bookkeeping services. Uploaded documents are stored encrypted; access takes place exclusively via a protected, logged area. Details are governed by the respective agreements with our clients.

7. Maps (OpenStreetMap)

On the “Locations” page you can optionally load a map. Only when you actively click “Load map” are map tiles loaded from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation); your IP address is transmitted to the service in the process. Without a click, no transmission takes place.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, a message to the contact details above is sufficient.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
